Perspectives
Shadows have no real substance. A shadow is really just
a lack of light. No one can make a shadow disappear by
stomping on it, fighting it, or running from it. The
only way to make a shadow disappear is to shine light on it.
Think of your current challenge as a shadow.
· How are you spending your energy to make it go away?
· Where is that getting you?
If the shadow (your challenge) isn't vanishing,
consider that your perspective keeps it in place.
In order to be freed from the shadow, new light
must be shined on it.
must be shined on it.
Take this moment to shine light on your
challenges...with new, uplifting and positive perspectives.

Think on this:
You wouldn’t let a prized possession get picked apart, stomped on , broken, or stolen.
Imagine your self-esteem as your prized possession. What are you doing to protect it?
"Think about the people you let influence your self esteem:
· How many of them light up when you walk into the room?
· How many invalidate you? Help you to feel like a lowly worm?
· How many encourage your dreams?
· How many make you feel wonderful just as you are?
· How many are so negative that they have your self-improvement as a personal hobby?
· How many can you feel open with?
When your personal self-esteem account is filled to overflowing, perhaps you can afford to spend time with diminishers. Until then , exercise caution. Let those who interfere with your self-esteem know that you are serious about your own growth and that you may not be seeing them for a while."
